Beta 2 for tvOS 26.2, watchOS 26.2, and more now available

Apple has released a new wave of beta updates, with developer beta 2 rolling out for tvOS 26.2, watchOS 26.2, visionOS 26.2, and more.

Apple rolling out tvOS 26.2 beta 2 and more for developers

Last week, Apple kicked off its 26.2 beta cycle with some big updates for iPhone, iPad, and Mac especially.

iOS, iPadOS, and macOS benefit from new Podcasts features, a key Reminders upgrade, Apple News design changes, and more.

For Apple’s smaller platforms, however, there were still some nice changes.

tvOS 26.2 beta 1 offered two new features:

  1. Profiles can now be created without an Apple Account requirement
  2. Apple’s TV app now respects content restrictions for children’s profiles

watchOS 26.2 included revisions to the Sleep Score grading system.

Outside of these changes, Apple’s updates seemed primarily focused on bug fixes and performance improvements.

Today, beta 2 is here for tvOS 26.2, visionOS 26.2, HomePod 26.2, and more.

Since we’re still early in the beta cycle, today’s releases could certainly bring additional new features for Apple’s “lesser” platforms.

We’ll keep you posted on any changes we discover in beta 2. And assuming there are no show-stopping bugs, Apple should follow up with a public beta 2 release in the next day or so.

Have you found anything new in tvOS 26.2 beta 2, or one of Apple’s other beta 2 releases? Let us know in the comments.
